We need you!

Do you know anyone who has got what it takes to become a Digital Champion? We are committed to getting the people of Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent on-line. Our latest project aims to raise awareness of the benefits of getting on-line and to encourage people to “have a go”. To do this, we aim to put in place a network of 50 Community Partners and 50 Digital Champions. Our Community Partners will be private companies, voluntary & community organisations and statutory bodies, such as the district council or the libraries.

Our Digital Champions will be ordinary people who access the internet regularly in their daily life. Digital Champions will spread the word, signpost people to us and to other UK On-line Centres in the area and sometimes show friends and relatives what the world-wide web is all about.

What we want from our Digital Champions:

• Enthusiasm for the internet
• A commitment to promote the benefits of getting on-line at every opportunity
• Attendance at our training session
• "Regular” contact with us and with other Digital Champions via Facebook &/or Twitter
• Completion of a monthly survey and an end of the Project survey
