Employed by East Staffs Community & Voluntary Services (ESCVS) and part of SCIO we aim to become self funding through income generation and enterprise.
During the last year the team has become accomplished at Project Management and Web Build/Media design. We offer a competitively priced, quality service and can design logo’s, stationery, websites, e-bulletins, posters, leaflets, databases etc. The new ESCVS logo and website are examples of our work– check out www.escvs.org.uk . Meet the Team (below) and see more examples of our work .......

Over the past 15 years, Julie has taken the lead on implementation of several large IT projects. Most relevant are:
Andy is a Microsoft qualified systems administrator with vast experience in supporting both hardware and software. He is currently responsible for first tier support to over 100 users of the SCIO database

Michele is a graphic designer with several years web-build, graphics and marketing experience. In her current role, Michele is responsible for designing websites and print media along with researching/generating primary information and using secondary data for inclusion on databases. More recently Michele also delivers Online Basics training and promotes Go Online events.
In addition to our everyday work developing and maintaining the SCIO database and website www.communitiestogether.org.uk , we are aiming to become the hub for statistical data evidencing the state of the third sector across Staffordshire. This data can be used locally and county-wide to support voluntary and community organizations and to influence policy makers and funders.

There are still around 10 million people in the UK who don’t use the internet. Some have never been on the internet and others “had a look” some years ago and haven’t been back since!
We want to help get Burton-on- Trent on line – so have registered as a UK Online centre. We’re here to help you, your staff and volunteers get on-line with our FREE and easy to use computer and internet courses.
Starting in April, we’re delivering Online Basics - two 1 hour sessions covering:
• How to use a mouse
• How to use a keyboard
• Open, read and send emails
• Find and use on-line searches
• Staying safe on line
There’s no “techy talk” - just easy to follow, step by step help and support to get you started on line.
If you know anyone who might be interested – volunteers, staff, relatives or friends please contact Julie Tibbitts – julie@escvs.org.uk or telephone Julie or Michele on 01283 543414 for details or to register on a course.
